I am the ying to Sean’s yang. As in, talk to me about the product. I’m the woman who’ll get it done. You know that part of your life, when you’re in your early twenties, full of energy and vision, ready to take on the world…and all anyone lets you do is knock on their door…or if you’re really lucky, you can get their coffee. Well, Artisan is my answer to that. It’s my way of saying, listen up. I’ve got something to say and a single young voice with a clear vision is the only hope for the future of theater in this country. So while I’m getting you your coffee, I’m learning somthing too, something about life, language, art, imagination, collaboration and the potential in all of us. Artisan is the future. Trust your imagination. Come join us.

I find myself wandering through an existential quandary. Meaning and purpose seem hard to come by these days. Happily, the Artisan Theatre Project provides opportunity, intrigue and fun! I’m being driven by the redemptive quality of arts and am interested in their alchemic properties, combining music, painting, dance and story into experiences that speak to humanity on an elemental level, the level which recognizes our bonds as one diverse, compassionate family with much to teach and learn. I hope that Artisan’s projects will ignite in its audiences a sense of adventure, a hunger for connection, and a trust in imagination.
